Kaize Ding

I'm an incoming Assistant Professor in Statistics and Data Science at Northwestern University. Prior to joining Northwestern, I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Huan Liu. Before that, I received my master's and bachelor's degrees from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT).

My research interests are generally in data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a particular focus on graph mining/graph machine learning, data-efficient learning, and reliable AI. Meanwhile, I am passionate about developing knowledge-guided AI algorithms to advance high-impact applications in various domains, such as cybersecurity, information retrieval, and healthcare.
